Miss Katey grew up in St. Louis and studied all styles of dance from the age of three. The discipline behind the ballet technique has always been her favorite even since she was a little girl. In her training years she was a company dancer, dance competition kid, MUNY Ensemble and these wonderful experiences gave her the performance training to receive a scholarship to Oklahoma City University’s Dance Department in 1993. While at OCU she trained under Jo Rowan and faculty for two years and took the leap of faith in 1995 to move to Las Vegas and begin her professional performance career. She has had the pleasure of dancing under many international production companies, in addition to, international choreographers. She has traveled all over the world performing production shows in places such as Greece, China, and Japan to name a few! She has managed production shows all over the world, has extensive experience in choreography for all ages and levels and continues to build her community relationships with people from all over the dance industry. In 2009 she returned to St. Louis to teach at Renee Johnson’s studios. She was the competition director for eight years @ RJ’s Chesterfield. In 2020, she launched her own business Winget Bodywork.
